About the Opportunity The Director of Graduate Enrollment and Admissions reports to the Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives, Admissions and Financial Aid and develops recruitment and yield strategies to grow the School of Law's graduate programs, with a primary focus on non-JD programs (LL.M. and MLS), by increasing the number of applicants, admits, and matriculants. The Director creates, updates, and manages application and admissions processes for the LL.M. and MLS programs and develops marketing/recruiting strategy for prospective students, including international applicants. In consultation with the Dean and Associate Dean, the Director may support the launch of new graduate program initiatives as they arise, such as online or hybrid degrees and certificates. The Director also oversees and manages third-party partners with regard to admissions and recruitment functions. Experience in the operation of an academic program is highly recommended. Effective oral and written communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with a culturally diverse constituency and community are required. Must be highly proficient in data management. Must be proficient in word processing and in the use of social media as a marketing and communication tool. Experience working with international students is highly recommended. Experience working with law students is a plus. Facility with project management databases is a plus. Creativity and self-motivation are a plus. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge and skills required for this position are normally obtained through a Bachelor's degree (JD or related law degree preferred) and experience working in student recruitment, admissions, and marketing academic programs. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Enrollment (40%)
- Manages LL.M. and MLS recruitment, application, and admissions processes, including tracking applications, analyzing enrollment data, and maintaining admissions records
- Communicates with applicants and admitted students
- Reviews LL.M. and MLS applications for admissibility, rendering final admission decisions and scholarship awards
- Develops scholarship strategy for LL.M. and MLS programs
- Reviews JD advanced standing applications for foreign attorneys
- Develops international and domestic recruitment strategy for the LL.M. and MLS programs
- Travels as needed to promote the program, both internationally and domestically, including to new or key markets to support recruitment efforts
- Provides periodic support to the JD program (online and traditional), such as reading application files as needed and participating in Admissions-wide events
- Oversees enrollment and marketing efforts of third-party partners for graduate and online programs (e.g., MLS and Online LLM). Online LL.M./LL.M. and MLS Communications & Marketing (30%)
- Creates/revises print and web-based marketing materials
- Develops and executes online marketing strategy
- Sources and manages all print and online marketing ads with outside vendors
- Creates and manages prospective, admitted, and enrolled student communication streams
- Primary responsibility for maintaining Online LL.M./LL.M. and MLS web pages Program Development (20%)
- Supports the Associate Dean and senior leadership in evaluating market opportunities and provides input that informs the direction of new and existing graduate programs and initiatives.
- Cultivates and manages day-to-day international partnership relationships with institutions abroad, in support of the Associate Dean's strategic partnership initiatives, to build the graduate enrollment pipeline and extend the School of Law's outreach internationally.
- Tracks and reports on enrollment performance and market trends for graduate programs to inform the Associate Dean's enrollment strategy and planning. Budget Management (10%)

Compensation Grade/Pay Type: 110S Expected Hiring Range: $76,335.00 - $107,823.75 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
