Follow us on Instagram @zopalife The team We’re on a mission to take our mobile app to the next level, and we’re looking for someone to help shape the future of our Android experience in Kotlin. Joining the Mobile Platform team, you’ll work on the technical foundations that power the app — from architecture and shared libraries to core experiences, build systems, and analytics infrastructure. You’ll join our Mobile Platform team, which owns the infrastructure, tooling and engineering standards that sit beneath our customer-facing mobile experiences. This includes areas such as app architecture, shared modules, our design system, observability, developer tooling and CI/CD. The team is accountable for keeping these foundations reliable, scalable and easy for our product squads to build on. You’ll help shape the direction of mobile engineering at Zopa, improve the developer experience, and reduce the underlying technical complexity that product engineers need to manage. The Mobile Platform team does not own individual customer journeys or build product features on behalf of squads. Product teams remain responsible for their customer experiences and the services they own, including responding to incidents within those product-owned areas. Instead, your focus will be on creating and maintaining the shared capabilities, tooling and standards that enable those teams to deliver safely and effectively. While the app today is built with React Native, we are expanding our native capabilities in Swift and Kotlin and are transforming the Android experience with a move toward a more fully native approach.
