Duties
- You will interview candidates and recommend selections, promotions, or reassignments.
- You will address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues, elevating more serious matters when appropriate.
- You will identify employee development needs and arrange training opportunities to strengthen technical and program management capabilities.
- You will improve productivity and enhance the quality of work across the team.
- You will assess employee performance and apply performance standards fairly and consistently.
- You will provide technical direction and leadership to a multidisciplinary team supporting telecommunications work.
- You will plan, develop, implement, test, and manage telecommunications projects, including balancing requirements, schedules, funding, and resources.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop telecommunications solutions, ensure projects are properly resourced, and support employee development and growth. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Serving as the portfolio lead for organic product development projects, responsible for the supervision and technical leadership of employees; 2) Providing expert technical direction and leadership for a staff of engineers, technicians, IT professionals, and business support personnel executing organic product development efforts; 3) Managing priorities and developing tactical resource plans to facilitate project execution for a technical portfolio; and 4) Serving as the lead technical authority and providing project planning and management for the portfolio of work supporting the design, development, integration, testing, and installation of organically developed solutions.
