The Team You’ll Join This role will be key to strengthening relationships with global shipping customers, identifying new growth opportunities in conventional and renewable marine fuels, and supporting customers in navigating the maritime energy transition. You will work at the intersection of commercial strategy, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, with exposure to FuelEU Maritime, EU ETS, RED III,IMO and other decarbonization frameworks. Key Responsibilities
- Manage strategic maritime customers while helping them navigate the energy transition through renewable fuels, regulatory compliance and decarbonization solutions.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic maritime sector customers, building long-term relationships focused on growth, customer retention, and value creation.
- Identify and develop business opportunities in both conventional marine fuels and low-carbon energy solutions, promoting multi-energy proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Advise customers on the impact of maritime regulations and transform regulatory requirements into commercial and compliance opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate the execution of complex contracts, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and the company’s capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial management by promoting opportunity analysis, data quality, and the development of new solutions related to maritime decarbonization. Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, key account management, or commercial activities within the energy, maritime, or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of the marine fuels market and relevant maritime decarbonization regulations, including FuelEU Maritime, EU ETS, IMO frameworks or equivalent sustainability schemes.
- Ability to interpret market data, economic analyses, and regulatory frameworks, translating them into compelling value propositions for customers.
- Fluent Spanish proficiency (C1 level or equivalent) required for effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent) for negotiations, presentations, and regular interaction with international clients and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of renewable and low-carbon fuels applied to the maritime sector.
- Experience working in regulatory environments related to sustainability, decarbonization, or environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with commercial management and analytics tools such as Power BI, CRM platforms, or equivalent solutions.
- Experience in international projects, multicultural environments, or commercial innovation initiatives. Skills
