- Annual Salary Package: Level A
- Post Doctoral Fellow ($89,579 - $120,621) plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading, OR, Level B
- Research Fellow ($127,138 - $150,425) plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading. Pro-rata rates apply for part-time appointments.
- Full-time or part-time, fixed-term position for 2 years.

- Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde The Macquarie University Health at Work Research Centre is expanding its research team and has an exciting opportunity for a talented, highly motivated researcher who is keen to apply and further develop their expertise. About the role In this position, you will contribute to funded industry projects focused on work design and wellbeing at work. Working closely with the Centre Director, you’ll apply your research expertise to collaborative projects that aim to improve health and wellbeing in organisations and translate research into practical outcomes. About us Since its foundation in 1964, Macquarie University has engaged with the real and often complex problems and opportunities that define our lives. The Health at Work Research Centre is part of Macquarie Business School , the University’s focal point for business, management and economics research and education. The Health at Work Research Centre conducts pioneering research to improve health and wellbeing at work and to advance health services through research and industry collaboration. The Centre investigates the complex interplay of factors that advance health and wellness, develops effective interventions and translates knowledge into policy and practice. Our interdisciplinary research unit uses multi-method collaborative research to improve health and social outcomes aimed at optimising the health of people in organisations and the design and management of health and social care. Macquarie University Health at Work Research Centre About You You’re a motivated researcher with a PhD in a relevant discipline and a developing or established research track record in organisational behaviour, HR, organisational psychology or a related field. You bring strong analytical and communication skills, enjoy working with research partners, and are keen to apply and grow your expertise in the Australian context. Essential Selection Criteria (Academic Level A & B)
- A PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. organisational psychology, management or other relevant business discipline, health services research)
- Peer-reviewed publications.
- Research experience in organisational behavior, HR or organisational psychology or similar interventions undertaken in the Australian context.
- Experience in preparing human research ethics applications.
- Demonstrable skills in the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data analysis software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, experience conducting systematic reviews and external stakeholder reports.
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively with internal and/or external partners. Criteria for Research Fellow
- Academic Level B (in addition to essential criteria above)
- Track record in managing research projects and a small research team.
- Experience in preparing and securing research grants.
- Track record of leading research publications, presentations and external stakeholder liaison. *** The successful candidate will be required to complete a Police Check and an academic qualification check.
