Job Description Peterson Cat has the immediate need for a Part-Time Custodian at our North Bend location. Shift- Monday-Friday 2:00pm to 6:00 pm. The Custodian is responsible for day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of one or more Peterson facilities. Depending on assignment and location, this role may occasionally assist with clerical duties for the Facilities department.

Essential Job Functions

• Sweep, mop, and scrub all floors.
• Empty trash, garbage, and recycling containers daily.
• Clean and wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Clean all restroom fixtures and refill dispensers.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and furniture.
• Complete assigned online training by the established due date(s).
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance. Depending on assignment and location, this role may assist up to 30% of the time with clerical duties including but not limited to reviewing maintenance work orders, document scanning and filing, email communications, and updating expense spreadsheets. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, safely and in alignment with Peterson’s core values. • Basic computer skills are required, including ability to:
• Navigate basic computer systems and programs.
• Use a computer to clock in and out of work.
• Complete online training courses with minimal technical assistance.
• Effectively communicate via email and other communication platforms (i.e. Microsoft Teams). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a custodian, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
