Description Laboratory Assistant — Louisville, Kentucky American Health Associates | Full-time | Now hiring Who we are American Health Associates is the nation’s largest clinical reference laboratory dedicated to long-term care — bringing 35 years of diagnostic excellence to patients in 2,500 healthcare facilities nationwide, powered by 14 full-service, CAP-accredited laboratories. - Load samples in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis
- Call critical results
- Perform instrument maintenance under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor
- Archive and retrieve samples
- Perform inventory
- Unpack stock and maintain department supplies as needed What you bring
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior laboratory, phlebotomy or medical office experience required
- Word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred
- Detail oriented
- Mon-Fri: 7am-6pm availability (shifts discussed during interview) What we offer
