Description We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of crew leadership experience, strong commercial construction knowledge, and hands-on experience with industrial piping systems. This role requires someone who can effectively manage crews, coordinate with other trades, and keep projects on schedule and up to quality standards. Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and BIM drawings.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, and daily work activities.
  • Oversee pipe installation, fabrication, fit-up, and testing.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, customers, and other trades.
  • Maintain job-site safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Train and mentor crew members. Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading pipefitting/plumbing crews.
  • Proven experience running commercial construction projects.
  • Experience with schools, restaurants, commercial buildings, or similar facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of piping installation and layout.
  • Ability to read blueprints and BIM drawings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong industrial pipefitting experience.
  • Experience with clean pipe, compressed air systems, gas lines, and process piping.
  • Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel piping.
  • Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or other industrial facilities.
  • Welding, fabrication, or pressure-testing experience.
  • OSHA or other relevant safety certifications. Working Conditions
  • Work performed indoors and outdoors in active construction environments
  • Exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, and industrial conditions
  • Typical schedule Monday–Thursday, with overtime or weekend work as needed
  • Travel throughout Upstate South Carolina and occasional neighboring states Salary:
  • Starting at $30/hr depending on experience
