Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general property maintenance and electrical installation work.
- Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of distribution boards and fixed wiring installations.
- Install and modify electrical systems for both single-phase and three-phase equipment.
- Install and maintain LED lighting and emergency lighting systems.
- Perform repairs and corrective work on internal and external wiring systems.
- Diagnose wiring faults and manage electrical systems in plant rooms, including motors, pumps, and fan coil units (FCUs).
- Follow site plans and schematic drawings accurately.
- Oversee and coordinate with specialist contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in shifts, on-call rota, nightshift pattern within the Maintenance Team during client occupations.
- Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position. Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience as an electrician.
- Qualifications:
- Recognised
C&g Nvq
qualifications or to have served an apprenticeship.
- BS7671 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification.
- C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations, or equivalent (C&G 2394/2395).
- To hold a JIB grading & an ESCS card.
- Hold a full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to write reports & job sheets either manually or electronically.
