Description Compliance Specialist Job Type: Full-time Location: Memphis, TN – In Office Department: Compliance Regional Support: West Region Description We are seeking a detail-oriented, confident, and highly organized Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team. This position will primarily support VRC's West Region while working collaboratively with members of the broader Compliance team and business leaders across the organization. The Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in helping ensure VRC Companies, LLC ("VRC") adheres to applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to privacy, confidentiality, security, and business operations. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can effectively manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed case documentation, and confidently communicate compliance requirements across different levels of the organization. Candidates with experience in legal, regulatory, auditing, information technology, or safety-related environments are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance activities and initiatives for VRC's West Region, working closely with the Compliance team and regional leadership.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance processes to support adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assist with updating policies, procedures, and internal compliance practices.
- Conduct and support compliance audits, assessments, and reviews, identifying potential areas of risk or noncompliance.
- Manage and document compliance-related cases, investigations, incidents, and follow-up activities from initiation through resolution.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance requirements are understood and incorporated into business operations.
- Provide clear and confident guidance to employees and management regarding compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, cases, audits, investigations, and training.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, documentation requests, and other compliance-related projects.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Partner with IT and other operational teams on matters involving information security, privacy, systems, and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed of regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging compliance risks. Requirements Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, auditing, legal support, case management, or a related field preferred.
- Legal or regulatory experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous audit experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable privacy, information security, or regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Experience with case management, investigations, documentation, or regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
- Experience working with IT, information security, data privacy, or technology-related compliance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a safety-related or highly regulated environment is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.

- This is an in-office position based in Memphis, TN.
- This position primarily supports VRC's West Region and may require collaboration across multiple locations and time zones.
- Occasional travel may be required for audits, training, investigations, or other compliance-related business needs.
