About the role This is an exciting 18 month max term contract opportunity to support TA’s participation teams, while working closely with our Member Associations (MAs), Tennis Services team, Clubs, Coaches and Operators to deliver tailored marketing initiatives, trade marketing strategies and participation-focused campaigns that drive engagement and bring our sport to life at a grassroots level. In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver local area marketing plans in partnership with Tennis Services and Marketing teams to drive participation growth
  • Provide training, tools, and support to stakeholders across marketing platforms, content creation, CRM systems, and data insights
  • Lead trade marketing initiatives, creating brand assets, templates, and resources that enable effective local engagement
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, activations, events, and communications to maximise impact and workforce capability
  • Monitor marketing performance, ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, and drive continuous improvement through data, insights, and innovation About you We’re looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, creativity and execution, and who can balance national strategy with local relevance. With the summer period fast approaching, you’ll be someone who can hit the ground running, working closely with internal teams to bring our participation initiatives, programs and brands to life and ensure they show up consistently and effectively during this critical period. To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Strong experience in marketing services, trade marketing, or campaign coordination (5+ years preferred)
  • A proven ability to engage and support multiple stakeholders across diverse networks
  • Hands-on skills in marketing tools (Canva, CRM, digital platforms) and a willingness to upskill others
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for innovation, continuous improvement, and insight-led reporting
  • A genuine passion for sport, community engagement, and bringing brands to life locally
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia What’s to love?
