Summary You will serve as a
Supervisory Police Officer
(DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF) in the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department of
Mclb Albany Ga.
Duties
- You will be planning, managing, directing, evaluating and effective operations of police support services
- You will exercise control in administration, supply, maintenance information management, resource management, recruitment and public relations
- You will approve leave requests; plan and coordinate programs of specialized training.
- You will obtain data for identifying law enforcement problem areas, conduct detailed planning, and coordinate work force deployment.
- You will receive, review and approve reports, reviews, surveys and records.
- You will maintain and monitored integrated reporting systems and data bases affecting programs.
- You will establish standard operating procedures for the control of personal weapons and ammunition stored or transported aboard the installation.
- You will draft administrative policies and procedures and monitors implementation of new or revised procedures. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing expertise in managing, directing, and evaluating law enforcement operations; planning mission priorities in a variety of areas that may include traffic, desk, patrol, military working dog/civilian police working dog, Special Reaction Team and investigative operations; reviewing and correcting blotters and reports.
