About the Role We’re looking for an exceptional Product Manager to own major areas of Ember’s AI agent platform. You’ll become the SME for the product surfaces you own: understanding the customer problem deeply, defining what the agent should do, and working with engineering and operations to turn that understanding into a reliable product. Our teams operate in fluid pods organized around the problem at hand. Depending on the initiative, you might work closely with engineers, agent operators, healthcare experts, customer-facing teams, or the founders. What You’ll Do
- Own meaningful areas of Ember’s agent platform, from problem definition and product strategy through launch and continuous improvement.
- Talk directly with customers and users to understand how their work happens today, where it breaks down, and which problems are most valuable to solve.
- Translate complex workflows, customer needs, and business goals into clear product requirements, agent behavior, edge cases, and success criteria.
- Partner closely with engineering to design and ship AI-native products that are useful, reliable, and trusted in real healthcare environments.
- Define how agent quality should be measured, including accuracy, reliability, coverage, efficiency, adoption, and customer outcomes.
- Review agent behavior, production failures, customer feedback, and product data to decide what to improve next.
- Make thoughtful prioritization decisions across customer value, business impact, product quality, and engineering effort.
- Help shape Ember’s broader product strategy, roadmap, and product-development practices as the company grows.
- Use modern AI tools to research, prototype, analyze data, and communicate ideas more quickly.
- Work alongside agent operators and other customer-facing teammates, while maintaining clear ownership of product direction and long-term product quality. About You • ~2
- 4 years of product management experience and have owned meaningful product areas or complex features.
- Demonstrate exceptional product judgment, structured thinking, and learning speed.
- Experience taking an ambiguous problem, understand it deeply, and give a team clear direction.
- Customer-oriented and want to understand how users work.
- Ability to move between strategic thinking and detailed execution without losing sight of the outcome.
- You are analytical and comfortable using product data, customer evidence, and first-principles reasoning to make decisions.
- You communicate clearly in writing and conversation and can create alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment where teams and responsibilities flex around the most important problem. Nice to Haves
