- Lead, integrate, and optimize CDO's global data and analytics ecosystem including appropriate self-service access and benchmarking to ensure high-quality, trustworthy, and strategically aligned data-driven decisions across CDO and Medicine.
- Define and operationalize the CDO data domain and digital flow processes to ensure data readiness, compliance, privacy transparency, and smooth integration across functions.
- Lead the definition, rollout, and continuous improvement of CDO organizational health KPIs across global/enterprise, regional/functional and operational levels to enhance transparency and better decision making.
- Build and operationalize a unified, transparent data and analytics demand management process for CDO that ensures prioritization aligned to strategic objectives, efficient delivery, clear expectations and alignment across demand sources and delivery paths.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing global data and analytics team, fostering collaboration, learning, innovation, smart risk-taking and continuous improvement to accelerate clinical trial delivery and drive patient value.
- Drive adoption of organizational health KPIs and data-driven decision-making as strategic enablers of efficient execution and predictable trial delivery by fostering a digital and data mindset, making impact visible and enabling leaders and teams to use insights confidently in business routines. Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in data science, computer science, statistics, medicine, life sciences, business administration or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong track record in data strategy, analytics, digital transformation and clinical development operations.
- Proven leadership in building and guiding high-performing teams across data, analytics and digital domains and across global, cross-functional and cross-geographical settings.
- Deep understanding of clinical development processes, data governance, regulatory and legal requirements, data privacy and compliance expectations in a pharmaceutical environment, with the ability to translate requirements into pragmatic data domain and digital flow processes.
- Proven ability to lead, integrate and optimize data and analytics ecosystems across global, cross-functional and cross-geographical settings, including alignment of analytics resources and operating practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data and analytics topics into clear, actionable messages for senior leaders and diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated financial and digital acumen, including experience with advanced analytics platforms, emerging technologies, resource optimization, and data-driven value realization.
