Key Responsibilities Purchase & Procurement
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, maintenance spares, engineering items, services and CAPEX requirements.
- Review purchase requirements and ensure timely placement of purchase orders.
- Develop procurement strategies based on business and production requirements.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical materials for plant operations. Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers as per company requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost and delivery.
- Develop alternate suppliers for critical and strategic materials.
