Efficio’s Product & Engineering team is an internal function of 60+ people driving innovation in the high-potential e-Procurement space. They are responsible for the development of software and data solutions and tools that enable our consulting teams to deliver better and faster outcomes to our customers. Product & Engineering is pivotal to scaling our business and services and comprises specialised teams in Applications Development, Data Services, AI and Infrastructure. We are looking for a Data & AI Consultant to join a fast-growing client-facing technology team. This is not a traditional data engineering role, and it is not a pure consulting role. It sits at the intersection of engineering, AI implementation, technical advisory, and client delivery. You will work directly with a major global client, helping them understand, design, and implement AI-enabled solutions within their own data and technology environment. Rather than simply building products in isolation, you will guide stakeholders through the journey from problem definition to roadmap creation, MVP development, and scalable implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both building and advising: someone who can speak confidently with senior stakeholders, translate business problems into technical roadmaps, and work hands-on with Python, AWS, APIs, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and AI models.
