As a Data Center Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, and are skilled at troubleshooting hardware based problems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. With increased knowledge and experience you become an escalation point for junior technicians and become responsible for creating and maintaining documentation on technologies you support. Issues are escalated to the appropriate resolver groups when necessary. You understand common IT principles like computer architecture and the OSI model and are able to apply them to finding solutions to problems. You know how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved. You are able to execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. You act as an escalation point for junior technicians. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. Days shift, night shift, and weekend work is required. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance. Key job responsibilities You will be required to engage in physical data center activities with or without reasonable accommodation. This includes all tasks associated with planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, hardware and software troubleshooting, and rack decommissioning. These activities include the following:
- Lifting and moving material up to 40 pounds each
- Working in cramped and/or elevated locations
- Bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
- Standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation
- Work in a noisy environment
- Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (covering both night and day shifts). A day in the life Our Data Center Technician professionals, who have industry-leading technical abilities and demonstrate a breadth of knowledge:

- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
- Current, active
Ts/sci US
Government Security Clearance
- 2+ years of server hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, or experience with network equipment installation and configuration
- 2+ years of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment experience, or experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies Preferred qualifications
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Bachelor's degree, or CCNA or equivalent level networking certification
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering), or experience in professional or military IT-related roles

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
