Description
- Own and grow an assigned territory or book of accounts, building and executing an account-based growth plan for target operators within it
- Achieve annual bed growth targets for the assigned territory or book of accounts
- Lead full sales cycles from prospecting through close, engaging community, regional, and ownership-level stakeholders
- Build and maintain a target-account list of senior living operators, communities, referral sources, and market influencers within the assigned territory or book of accounts, and conduct consistent outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, conferences, referrals, and in-person visits
- Discover and analyze operator needs
- Present and articulate the MMP value proposition based on persona, operator, and need
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key decision makers and influencers
- Maintain accurate CRM data, sales activities, opportunity stages, pipeline, and forecasts to provide leadership with clear visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities
- Actively participate in pipeline reviews and discussions
- Represent MMP at industry events, association meetings, conferences, and other company-sponsored activities within the assigned territory or book of accounts
- Build qualified pipeline through disciplined pre-event planning and post-event follow-up
- Manage expenses in accordance with company guidelines Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of progressive B2B sales experience; experience selling to senior living, long-term care pharmacy, or healthcare services organizations a plus
- Demonstrated, measurable track record of sales success as an individual contributor
- Demonstrates professionalism and executive presence in all interactions with customers, prospects, industry partners, and internal stakeholders
- Motivated, self-directed, and accountable with minimal supervision
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory or book of accounts (approximately 50%), including periodic conferences and overnight travel as needed
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence others
- Highly organized and attentive to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sales opportunities with competing priorities. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain appropriate automobile insurance, and have access to a reliable personal vehicle that meets the requirements of the position. - Target Base: $50,000
- Commission: $40 per billable bed
