Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Indirect Tax Analyst through October 16th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Buenos Aires Time). Main responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Tax returns preparation/supports the filing of tax returns
- Tax determination on customers billing
- Understanding of regulations and
- Business an accounting acumen
- Supporting internal and external audits
- ERP/tax applications and databases maintenance Main Activities:
- Manage most complex account reconciliations. Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P&L, B/S, payments).
- Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes.
- Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contacts tax authorities for clarification as needed.
- Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions.
- Review Chevron customers’ taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance
- Leads, coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures. Required Qualification/Soft Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or tax
- Combination of 3+ years of tax accounting, finance and/or audit experience Excellent oral/written English skills
- Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP) Preferred qualifications:
- US or International Direct and Indirect tax experience
- Soft skills: coordination/Leadership skills
- Analytical skills and critical thinking
- Able to adapt processes in response to a fast-paced environment. Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
