Inventory Control Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining the data associated with raw materials/ components and facilitating the compliance of the raw materials available at House of Cheatham. This includes maintaining the vendor list, raw material/packaging component inventory and their expiration dates, as well as managing the program for ensuring that raw materials/packaging components are available for use, meet specifications and are not expired.

Essential Functions

• Partner with Procurement and R&D to maintain the approved vendor list
• Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain an up-to-date list of all raw materials in inventory
• Track the raw material expiration and champion the process for retest and disposition
• Problem solve quantity discrepancies
• Maintain updated and accurate documentation
• Adhere to all GMP specifications
• Perform yearly raw material and packaging component audits
• Compile data on inventory usage, returns, and waste for site metrics
• Identify root cause and implement proper corrective actions
• Work cross-functionally with multiple departments
• Performs physical cycle counts
• Perform Audit measures
• Other Duties as assigned Requirements

Required Experience

/ KNOWLEDGE

• Excellent organizational skills
• Good project management and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Working knowledge of Fascor a plus or other WMS systems

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
