Bilingual Clinician

New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We deliver respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness across our communities. We are looking for a part-time bilingual clinician to join our Mount Holly team. Our nonprofit agency provides mental health and substance use treatment. We welcome independently licensed clinicians and LSW or LAC clinicians who are building their experience under supervision. • Collaboration and transparency What You Will Do
• Provide individual and group counseling in English and Spanish for clients with mental health, substance use or co-occurring needs.
• Complete intakes, assessments and treatment plans with clients, using goals that reflect what matters to them.
• Use a respectful, trauma-informed approach and support each client’s treatment choices and readiness for change.
• Work with prescribers, nurses, case managers and peers to coordinate care and referrals.
• Follow up after missed visits, assess safety concerns and involve the appropriate team member when additional support is needed.
• Complete progress notes and other records on time in myEvolv , and participate in supervision and team meetings.
• Support Mobile Unit and community-based services as assigned. What You Bring
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or a related clinical field that meets the requirements for your New Jersey license.
• Active New Jersey LCSW, LPC, LSW or LAC license. LSW and LAC applicants seeking supervised clinical hours are welcome.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide counseling in both languages.
• Strong communication , professional boundaries and follow-through. Outpatient mental health or substance use experience is preferred. Clinical Supervision Supervision is available for eligible LSWs working toward LCSW licensure and LACs working toward LPC licensure. Supervision will be arranged with a qualified supervisor for your discipline and the appropriate supervision plan. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health, substance use treatment, community mental health, or co-occurring disorders.
• Experience with MAT/OTP services.
• Experience facilitating therapeutic or psychoeducational groups.
• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT-informed interventions, relapse prevention, or recovery-oriented care. Benefits & Perks
