Description Are you a detail-oriented HR coordinator who has a passion for problem solving and employee support? USPP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources department and help foster a positive employee experience. The HR Coordinator will assist with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and HR record management. This role is critical in ensuring efficient HR operations while supporting our mission of delivering high-quality pediatric healthcare services for our patients. Benefits that Matter!

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, and new hire documentation.
  • Assist hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Employee Records & HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR information systems (HRIS).
  • Process personnel transactions, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements and company policies.
  • Generate HR reports and maintain employee databases. Benefits Support
  • Support employee benefits enrollment and updates.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
  • Work with benefits providers to resolve issues. Compliance & Policy Support
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with audits, accreditation requirements, and compliance reporting.
  • Support policy updates and employee handbook administration.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Payroll Support
  • Assist with payroll preparation and processing by maintaining accurate employee data, timekeeping records, and attendance information.
  • Review timesheets, pay adjustments, and employee status changes to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, direct deposits, and payroll-related concerns.
  • Assist with payroll audits and ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR team to reconcile payroll discrepancies and improve payroll processes. Requirements Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Experience
  • 1-3 years of Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus. Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-service mindset with a commitment to supporting employees. Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in a healthcare, hospital, clinic, or long-term care environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements and credentialing processes. This is a hybrid role working four days in our Jacksonville, FL office and one day working from home.
