Ends Team Leader

Job Description: Job Purpose: To lead and motivate the team throughout the shift, in all aspects of normal line operation. This includes ensuring compliance with safety procedures, driving quality, production, spoilage, planning, leading changeovers, autonomous maintenance activities and problem solving. These activities are in addition to the core role, and the Team Leader remains part of the normal crewing levels. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Production All Team Leader roles to include the co-ordination of the following: Ensuring team’s compliance with all safety procedures and safe systems of work. Ensure product quality is maintained, reacting to any change in process, and follow up on non-conformance. Focus on production output during shift. React to and prevention of spoilage and implementation of appropriate corrective actions where required. Setting and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping. Leading improvement activities. Communication across Department related to all of the above – completion of log books, liaising with other shift Team Leader to ensure effective communication across the Department. Control of autonomous maintenance activities. Ensure effective shift handovers are conducted by all team members. Participating in the development of the team. Utilization of available resource across the Department. Reporting Review, sign-off logbooks and action issues as appropriate. Assist with breakdown analysis, corrective action reports and complaint investigations. Leadership Expectations Commitment to Safety
