If so, contact us to learn more today! Sensible Care is now hiring a Part -Time ( hybrid ) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to treat patients in Palm Desert , California! This opportunity is Part-Time; 24 hours per week with potential to increase in the future! We are looking forward to meeting you! We offer: Compensation: $96/hour

- Valid DEA registration
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Experience performing relevant duties in an outpatient setting preferred
- Proficiency with computers and Electronic Medical Records (EMR's)
- Timeliness, detail oriented, and the ability to work well in a team setting Primary Duties:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations in-person and via telemed
- Treat patients 2 days per week in our Palm Desert, CA clinic; 1 virtual day
- Treat mental health disorders with medication and psychotherapy
- Coordinate patient care with ancillary providers
- Work with support staff to authorize prescription refills and medication changes
- Address urgent patient issues that arise outside of patient visit s
- Supervise Spravato treatments and be prepared to assist in the management of adverse effects . Maintain an active DEA registration, with the Palm Desert clinic appropriately associated with the provider’s DEA registration as required for the provision of Spravato treatment at the practice location.
