Description Program/Department: Gateway Church/Facilities Job Title: Event Support Worker Reports To: Facilities Director Job Overview: Gateway Church is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Event Support Worker . This role plays a key part in keeping our facilities and grounds clean, safe, and functional during our busiest seasons. Event Support Workers will work together to maintain the campus for various events, such as concerts, memorials, special gatherings, and conferences. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong work ethic and a willingness to help wherever needed. Gateway OneTeam members will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission of: Presenting Hope and Developing People . Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness and demonstrating a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ; active involvement in a local church is essential.

  • Job Status: Part-time, non-regular
  • Schedule: Schedule primarily includes evenings and/or weekends, depending on event needs. This position is mainly structured around special gatherings, holiday programming, and events.
  • Work Location: In-person, Gateway Church
  • Salary: $25/hr
  • Benefits: Sick Leave, Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities:
  • Support the setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor events as needed.
  • Move, load, and store equipment, furniture, and other materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in workspaces, storage areas, and grounds. Qualifications:
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Able to work independently and effectively during periods of solo coverage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s license (if driving is required).
