Summary You will serve as a MANAGER in the SECURITY DIVISION,

Corporate Operations Department

of

Naval Surface Warfare Center.

Duties

  • You will serve as the Command Activity Security Manager, Security Division Manager and senior security advisor on all security matters with oversight over all security programs for the command.
  • You will have delegated authority to act as the technical expert on all matters affecting the command's security posture, emergency responses, and national security systems integrity.
  • You will perform budget planning and execution responsibility, as well as the supervisory, strategic, and management of the security team in a highly structured, regulation-intensive environment.
  • You will formulate and execute multi-year operational budgets, direct a multi-tiered workforce of senior technical specialists, and maintain extreme divisional compliance and audit-inspection readiness.
  • You will manage immediate security threats, active compromises, or emergency situations with technical expertise, maintaining authority to immediately halt command operations if critical protocols are compromised.
  • You will solve security problems by designing mitigations when security systems are compromised by emerging threat vectors and serve as the authoritative representative to negotiate security agreements and shape policies with enterprise-wide impact. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 pay band or grade level (GS-13/14) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading and overseeing multi-disciplinary security team to plan, implement and direct improvements over operations and compliance for an enterprise-level security program.
