Job Description Overview Responsible for domestic and international outbound shipping of merch and non-merch product for all channels of business. Responsible for receiving and proper distribution of inbound product to respective departments. Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving, transacting, or shipping merchandise, components, or non-merch product
- Meet productivity goals/measurements set forth by Logistics Management
- Create shipping labels and packing orders to ship via FedEx, UPS, and Brinks
- Accountable for reporting overages/shortages and picking inaccuracies to management and maintaining inventory integrity
- Assist management with departmental projects and responsibilities
- Receive and dispatch deliveries
- Deliver received packages to proper departments
- Responsible for ensuring accurate packaging and documentation are included for each shipment
- Responsible for the planning, balancing, and completion of orders including packaging materials, components, and finished goods
- Responsible for communicating and suggesting improvements to increase the effectiveness of the shipping and receiving process, systems, procedures and recommending improvements and enhancements as required
- Keep work area organized and clean, keep inventory of proper shipping supplies neat, clean and organized with adequate inventory levels stored appropriately. Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to Multi-task
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Must be willing to work overtime when required
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs Location Lyndhurst, NJ Travel Minimal travel may be required.
