Company: Marsh Description: Network Operations Manager We are seeking a Network Operations Manager, to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Network Operations Manager, you will lead and/or be a key contributor to plan, design, develop, implement, and operate F5 products such as LTM, ASM, BIG-IQ and APM. You will also be responsible for operational support for Infoblox DNS, DHCP and IPAM. The manager and team will serve as an escalation point for incident and change management along with responsibility for process creation, capacity management, inventory management, configuration standardization, client communication and vulnerability management for the F5 and Infoblox environments. We will count on you to :
- Management of colleagues directly under supervision – scheduling, workload, 1 on 1 meetings with L1 Managers, project assignment tracking
- Plan, Design, Develop, Implement and Operate F5 products such as LTM, ASM, BIG-IQ and APM and Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
- Lead developer enhancements of scripts and tools to automate configuration and provide self-service of F5 and Infoblox environments
- Apply capacity planning configuration, vulnerability, and upgrade changes for the environment
- Work with the Business Units to understand F5 and DNS project requirements and organize implementation of those requirements.
- Define the capacity and performance standards, metrics and thresholds around current and new initiatives including Cloud Load Balancing, F5, DNS and instrumentation to effectively manage the environment
- Collaborate with different technology towers and Business Units to improve and streamline change request process and maintain appropriate asset inventory for support the environment
- Participate in Change and Incident management as an escalation point for higher level issues
- Perform next day analysis, Investigation and diagnosis of incidents and problems relating to F5 and Infoblox infrastructure.
- Provide clear technical documentation, written procedures and quality assurance for L1 team What you need to have :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience of networking operation experience
- Good technical experience with F5 Load balancers
- Good technical knowledge in Infoblox, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Wide Area Network (WAN), Cisco, Routers or Switching
- ITIL Change/Incident Management
