Hiring Unit: Department Of Physiology Course Title: Light Microscopy for the Life Science Course Code: PHGY 560 Estimated Number of Positions: 2 Total Hours of Work per Term: 45 Position Summary:
- Attend 6 lab sessions of 2 hours
- Attend 6 pre-lab meetings, review labs, laboratory preparation
- Assist instructor in marking student lab reports
- Assist instructor in marking student tests Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Science
- Familiar with microscopes, digital imaging and image
- processing and analysis.
- Previous students from PHGH 560 would be ideal.
- Ability to assess written work and clearly express written criticisms.
- Effective communication skills in English are essential.
