of MARCORSYSCOM. Duties

• You will oversee facility maintenance, repairs, renovations, construction, grounds care, and related services while reviewing needs, preparing budgets, and coordinating work to support reliable operations.
• You will lead emergency management efforts by planning for hazards, coordinating preparedness activities, maintaining response standards, and supporting continuity of operations during natural or human-caused incidents.
• You will develop emergency plans, procedures, risk assessments, and training programs while advising leadership on prevention, preparedness, response, recovery, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• You will supervise employees, assign work, set priorities, evaluate performance, provide guidance, address conduct and attendance issues, and ensure staff receive appropriate training and development.
• You will manage contracts, estimates, schedules, inspections, and project documentation while coordinating with internal departments, contractors, and other entities to resolve facility and operational concerns.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Expert knowledge of the facility management principles and practices. Examples include organizational planning, work measurement, facilities planning and layout, materials handling, production planning and control, human engineering, budgeting and cost accounting, and quality control/assurance. 2. Significant knowledge of emergency management-related directives, regulations, policies, civil rights laws, standards and guidance (e.g., National Security Strategy, Presidential Policy Directives, Homeland Security Presidential Directives, National Mitigation Framework, National Incident Management System, National Response Framework, National Disaster Recovery Framework, Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Commonwealth of Virginia Emergency Operations Plan (COVEOP)). 3. Expertise to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions. 4. Knowledge of Mission Assurances areas of responsibility, specifically Emergency Management, with an understanding of the four phases of emergency management in order to implement each and integrate with local authorities to ensure the Command is mission capable. 5. Expertise to plan and organize facilities management functions as it relates to improving the quality of and productivity of the organization.
