This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Developer based in Canada. As a Staff Software Developer, you’ll lead through hands-on technical excellence while remaining deeply connected to the codebase and development team. You’ll tackle complex engineering challenges, design scalable systems, and deliver production-quality software that improves products and platform reliability. The role combines deep individual contribution with broad technical influence through mentorship, architecture guidance, reusable tooling, and engineering standards. You’ll work across distributed systems and modern cloud infrastructure, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. AI-enabled development practices will help you investigate difficult problems, automate workflows, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery. You’ll also contribute to developer productivity and system performance while helping teams make sound technical decisions.
