The Role Reporting to the Director of Network Strategy, the Network Procurement Officer supports the sourcing of infrastructure, colocation services, network and internet services. The role ensures Megaport delivers a high-performing, scalable, and commercially efficient network with accurate inventory, strong cost controls, and effective commercial oversight. As Megaport expands globally, you will use market knowledge and strategic thinking to identify opportunities that support network growth while delivering commercial value. You will engage with Data Centre Operators, Network suppliers, and partners, and collaborate with internal teams, including Network Engineering, Finance/Commercial Desk, Sales, and Operations teams, to ensure our infrastructure strategy is robust, innovative, and aligned with business goals. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relations, ensuring compliance with third-party agreements, assisting with special projects, and providing recommendations to senior stakeholders. By balancing optimal network design with cost efficiency, you will help drive savings while enabling Megaport’s global expansion.
