C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Designer to help define and elevate how our global brand comes to life across campaigns, experiences, and communications. In this role, you’ll translate business and marketing objectives into compelling visual concepts, stories, and design solutions across digital, print, video, presentations, and other channels. As a senior member of the creative team, you’ll bring strong conceptual, visual, and executional design expertise to complex projects; from developing the initial creative concept and visual direction through final execution. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Brand, Content, and business stakeholders, bring a strong creative point of view to the work, and help elevate the capabilities and quality of the broader design team. This is a hands-on role for a designer who can move comfortably between big-picture thinking and detailed execution; someone who can take an ambiguous business challenge, find the story within it, and turn that story into clear, compelling creative typically in close collaboration with in-house team of writers, designer, and other partners. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site two days a week (Tuesday/Wednesday), igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work three days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy. Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Translate marketing strategies and stakeholder goals into innovative visual concepts, campaign themes, and final creative assets across digital, print, video, and other platforms
  • Create and evolve campaign design systems, applying established brand and style guidelines while developing new creative approaches for product launches and marketing initiatives
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on design best practices, creative trends, and tools, bringing expertise and fresh thinking to complex projects
  • Partner closely with Marketing and key stakeholders to understand business objectives, influence visual direction, and deliver creative solutions that achieve campaign goals
  • Provide constructive design feedback and guidance to junior team members, helping strengthen creative capabilities and the overall quality of the team’s work
  • Manage creative work across multiple deliverables and stakeholders, balancing priorities, timelines, and brand consistency from concept through final execution
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve creative processes, approaches, and output across the team
  • Support agency collaboration and broader team priorities on projects as needed Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, and/or Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience creating marketing campaigns across multiple deliverables (e.g., paid ads, websites, print, video, etc.) using design software Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, with the ability to quickly adopt new creative technologies, tools, and workflows
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual design craft, campaign development, and the ability to translate strategy into compelling creative work across multiple channels
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality work within established timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to clearly articulate creative concepts, design rationale, and recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and develop clear, compelling visual solutions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate across a large and geographically dispersed organization, and build alignment around creative solutions
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and complexity, with the ability to turn diverse inputs and complex business challenges into clear, focused creative solutions

Compensation Range $77,200.00 - $122,300.00 The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
