Role Overview The Site Manager, Health, Safety & Security is the primary HSS presence on the floor. This role is responsible for executing Stord's safety and security program at the site level -- embedded in daily operations, visible to employees and operators, and directly accountable for building a safe and secure working environment across an assigned set of facilities. Reporting to a Regional Manager of Health, Safety & Security, the Site Manager owns the day-to-day delivery of the HSS program: conducting safety observations, managing incident response, driving corrective actions to closure, and partnering closely with site General Managers and operations leaders to embed safety into every shift. Across their sites, they are the face of safety -- the person employees’ approach, leaders lean on for guidance, and the Regional Manager depends on for ground-level execution. This is not a desk role. It demands consistent physical presence, operational credibility, and the ability to influence behavior and culture. What This Role Owns The Site Manager is the execution layer of Stord's HSS program. They translate regional and enterprise standards into what happens on the floor, every shift, at every site they cover. This role owns:

• Day-to-day safety and security program delivery at assigned sites, including full compliance with enterprise standards and applicable regulations.
• Incident response and investigation -- first on scene, responsible for documentation, root cause analysis, and driving corrective action closure.
• Proactive identification and mitigation of site-level risks -- physical, behavioral, and systemic -- that could lead to injury, financial loss, or operational disruption.
• Physical security ownership: setting and enforcing access control, CCTV, perimeter, and visitor management standards across assigned sites -- ensuring controls are operational, documented, and audit-ready.
• Loss prevention and integrity: inventory shrink, behavioral observation, fraud and integrity investigations, and escalation of theft or policy violations.
• Employee-facing safety culture: visible floor presence, coaching, near-miss reporting, and reinforcing speak-up behaviors every shift.
• Site audit readiness -- facilities are always inspection-ready for both internal reviews and regulatory visits.
• Regulatory compliance at the site level: OSHA adherence, state and local requirements, Hazmat standards, and readiness for customer-required certifications. Key Responsibilities Daily Site Operations and Floor Presence
• Conduct regular safety walks, behavioral observations, and hazard identification sweeps across all assigned facilities.
• Partner with shift supervisors, operations managers, and General Managers to address safety concerns in real time.
• Monitor safety conditions during peak periods, shift transitions, and high-traffic operational windows.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for all safety, security, and loss prevention matters during operating hours.
• Deliver immediate coaching on unsafe behaviors and conditions; document and track corrective actions to verified closure.
• Maintain a visible, consistent presence that makes safety feel operational -- not bureaucratic. Incident Management and Investigation
• Lead the immediate response to all site-level incidents, including injuries, near-misses, security events, and property damage.
• Conduct thorough investigations using root cause analysis methodology and document findings in Stord's safety management system.
• Coordinate with the Regional Manager, HR, and Legal as appropriate for significant incidents or sensitive investigations.
• Ensure all OSHA recordkeeping, regulatory notifications, and mandatory reporting are completed accurately and on time.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions to verified closure; follow up with site operations leaders to confirm implementation.
• Lead post-incident reviews with site leadership and translate findings into durable operational improvements. Safety Program Execution
• Execute all enterprise and regional safety programs, standards, and procedures at assigned sites consistently and completely.
• Ensure all required safety training programs -- including PIT certification, LOTO, ergonomics, PPE, and emergency response -- are in place, current, and completed by required populations; govern through audit and record.
• Prepare and maintain site safety documentation: OSHA 300 logs, inspection records, training logs, and corrective action trackers.
• Participate in site leadership meetings to represent HSS priorities and conduct pre-shift safety briefings in coordination with operations supervisors.
• Ensure pre-shift safety briefings are conducted consistently by operations supervisors and that site leadership meetings include a standing HSS agenda item -- hold leaders accountable for delivery. Physical Security and Loss Prevention
• Monitor and enforce physical security controls at assigned sites, including access control systems, visitor protocols, and CCTV coverage.
• Conduct inventory integrity checks and partner with operations to investigate and resolve shrink, damage, or variance trends.

• Lead integrity and fraud investigations at the site level -- including internal theft, employee misconduct, vendor fraud, and inventory manipulation -- managing the full investigation lifecycle from detection through resolution and corrective action.
• Gather and preserve evidence, maintain chain of custody, and produce investigation documentation that meets internal and legal standards -- coordinating with HR, Legal, and the Regional Manager throughout.
• Serve as the primary site-level liaison with law enforcement -- managing police responses, coordinating active investigations, and building ongoing relationships with local agencies to support loss prevention and security outcomes.
• Identify behavioral and operational indicators of theft, fraud, or policy violations; escalate findings to the Regional Manager and HR with documented evidence and a recommended course of action.
