Procurement Manager Contract and Cold Chain Logistics

We are looking for a Procurement Manager, Contract Logistics to join our L&S Procurement – Europe team. You will lead Contract Logistics category strategies and sourcing initiatives across Europe. You will also work with area, country and site teams on regional and local procurement priorities. The role covers both CAPEX and operational spend. You will work across our matrix organisation and partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, HSSE, Commercial and Procurement teams. Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Contract Logistics category strategies across Europe.
• Lead regional, multi-country and local sourcing initiatives.
• Translate global strategies into practical regional and local plans.
• Balance regional scale with local market and operational needs.
• Manage categories including labour, material handling equipment, automation, facility management, utilities, operational tools and consumables.
• Manage both CAPEX and operational procurement requirements.
• Support site requirements, customer implementations, new operations and capital investments.
• Lead tenders, negotiations, supplier selection, contracting and implementation.
• Manage strategic and key local suppliers across Europe.
• Improve supplier performance, contract coverage and compliance.
• Build category roadmaps and sourcing pipelines aligned with business priorities.
• Deliver measurable savings, cost avoidance and wider business value.
• Manage supplier, contractual and supply-continuity risks.
• Use data and market intelligence to support sourcing and category decisions.
• Use digital platforms and AI-enabled tools to improve procurement processes.
• Collaborate across global, regional, area and local Procurement teams. What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or CIPS preferred), or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least seven years of procurement or category management experience.
• Experience within contract logistics, warehousing, supply chain or industrial services.
• Proven experience leading multi-site or multi-country sourcing initiatives.
• Ability to manage both category strategies and local sourcing requirements.
• Experience managing CAPEX and operational spend.
• Strong negotiation, contracting and supplier-management skills.
• Strong commercial, analytical and financial judgement.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organisation.
• Ability to build alignment and deliver results without direct authority.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and countries.
• Comfortable adapting to changing business priorities.
• Confidence using data, digital platforms and AI-enabled tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
