Together, we develop and deliver innovative products and services in the field of precision agriculture. #wearekaiserslautern Our department *Production System Marketing* is looking for a # Product Specialist Guidance & Automation (m/f/d) In this position, you will work with interdisciplinary teams in the R2 Production System team, regional Tactical Marketing and Global ISG development departments. • an attractive compensation package including variable pay program The salary for this position (full-time) is based on the ERA group EG 9 of the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry Rheinland-Pfalz and consists, in addition to the gross monthly salary of 4932€, of various special payments (holiday pay, T-Zug, Christmas pay, etc.). You can expect an annual salary of approx. 68000 EUR in this position. Your Responsibilities:
• You are responsible for regional marketing within our enterprise customer acquisition process, helping farmers and contractors unlock the value of our guidance and automation technologies, including the suite of solutions on our G5 Display, which enable near hands-free guidance and almost automated fieldwork execution.
• Working closely with different John Deere teams, dealers and customers, you define and validate the positioning and value proposition for the mentioned products, tailored to the local production systems of the region (e.g. small grains, dairy and livestock).
• You manage the respective marketing launch plans, enabling successful product adoption and sustainable utilization.
• Finally, in collaboration with our tactical marketing team, you will align planned marketing campaigns and support the planning and presentation of our solutions at international trade fairs. What Skills You Need:
• Completed studies or university education in the field of agriculture
• Profound knowledge of the cultivation methods for small grains, corn and common special crops
• ideally you have acquired this through your own practical experience.
• Solid understanding of practices of farmers, including the work preparation, its execution and documentation
• In-depth understanding of precision farming products and solutions as well as experience in the field of Agriculture 4.0 and digitization in the agricultural sector
• Knowledge of customer requirements, markets, and competitors in the agricultural industry, especially in the field of precision farming
• Driving license class B and T as well as willingness to travel up to 25%
• Fluency in German and English is required, other languages are an advantage
• Experience in sales and marketing activities in the practical field service is an advantage This tariff position is based in Kaiserslautern and available for immediate start.
