Commercial Segment Support Manager I - Treasury Management

Overview: Responsible for providing complete and total understanding of Treasury Management Revenue for both Commercial and Business Banking. This includes drivers, impact of new sales, attrition to provide a holistic understanding of Treasury Management Revenue growth. This role will drive portfolio revenue at the Commercial and/or Bank-wide level. Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, inform, continually implement Treasury Management Revenue Strategy, aligning department roles, responsibilities, and driving adoption across organization including Product Penetration, Regional Sales Tendencies, and Attrition Analysis
• Work with Bank partners to understand and influence Treasury Management Revenue objectives, both for new and existing customers and support needs based upon business objectives.
• Demonstrate a thorough and expert understanding of the Treasury Management Revenue dynamics within both Commercial and Business Banking, including key initiatives, major projects, and revenue goals needs.
• Keep abreast of business and market trends that may affect the business/department through updates via third party vendors and/or independent analyses.
• Help to shape overall Treasury Management strategic direction creating analyses to further Treasury Management strategies.
• Oversee and ensure proper direction on CPLS strategic priorities and projects.
• Perform highly complex analysis and judgment based review, research, and/or reconciliation.
• Interpret results and present findings to make or influence strategic decisions within the department or division.
• Provide coaching, direction, and leadership to team members in order to achieve business results.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities: Potentially could manage a team of employees as needs dictate Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years’ related business line experience including 1 year leadership/ supervisory experience, or in lieu of a degree, combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience including 1 year leadership/supervisory experience In-depth understanding of principles in discipline and basic knowledge of others M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $89,600.00 - $149,300.00 Annual (USD).
