Job Description Summary About This Role As a Project Supply Chain Manager, you are the central point of contact between project teams and engineering functions, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of equipment from sourcing and manufacturing through to logistics and site delivery to ensure all contractual customer requirements are met. You will work across a global matrix of functions — planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and engineering — to keep projects on time, on budget, and compliant with customer commitments. If you find energy in building consensus across teams, solving delivery challenges before they become crises, and seeing complex projects land successfully, this role is built for you. Job Description Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end equipment supply chain execution for your assigned project scope — from initial handover of pre-award inputs (budget, cost assumptions, and commercial levers) through manufacturing, logistics, and final site delivery.
- Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and planning functions to align all teams on the project supply strategy, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) milestones and cash management targets are met.
- Monitor and manage the full project budget for your scope, including product, manufacturing, direct materials, site, transport, and warehousing costs — reporting deviations from the original sold scheme with clear analysis and improvement recommendations.
- Lead risk and opportunity (R&O) assessments for your scope; consolidate root cause analysis for margin movement and ensure timely escalation and resolution of non-conformities and cost overruns.
- Partner with the Master Scheduler to track fabrication orders, purchasing requisitions, purchase order (PO) placement, and shipment activity — keeping all milestones aligned with project planning requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes, identifying and acting on opportunities to strengthen project performance, reduce delivery risk, and improve overall compliance. What We're Looking For You bring strong project coordination experience across supply chain, manufacturing, or procurement — with the communication skills and cross-functional instincts to align teams and resolve issues before they escalate. Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management — or equivalent professional experience in a project-based supply chain environment.
- 6+ years of proven experience in project management, manufacturing coordination, sourcing, or supply chain in a project-driven context.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track costs, and report on project financial performance.
- Experience working across cross-functional and global matrix environments. Preferred
- Working knowledge of Hydro power equipment or comparable capital equipment environments.
- Familiarity with Lean operating systems, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with risk and opportunity management frameworks within project execution contexts. Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
