Then this opportunity at PPG could be the perfect next step in your career! About the Role As an EHS Manager, you will support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security activities at our Tiel site. Working closely with the Site Leadership Team and the Country EHS Manager, you will help ensure compliance with legislation and PPG standards while contributing to a strong safety culture across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an EHS professional who is looking to further develop their expertise within a global manufacturing environment. What will you do?

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the site EHS Management System.
• Collaborate with local Management, Coordinators and Authorities to ensure EHS compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security regulations are met.
• Maintaining EHS programs, procedures, inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Support incident, accident, near miss, and environmental event investigations, helping identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and prepare regular reports and KPI updates.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to employees.
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture by partnering with operations and site teams.
• Facilitate local EHS leadership meetings and communicate key EHS initiatives and performance updates to stakeholders.
• Support emergency preparedness activities and business continuity initiatives.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects focused on reducing risk and improving environmental and safety performance.
• Collaborate with regional and site EHS colleagues to share best practices and drive improvements. What do you bring?
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or chemical environment.
• Knowledge of environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations.
• Experience supporting EHS programs, audits, risk assessments, or compliance activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across different functions.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop within the EHS field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
