About the team: About the role: Process Excellence is an exciting new team created within the Employee Experience area. This team will own end-to-end People Processes, provide leading design expertise enabling delivery of extraordinary global standard, optimised experiences for our employees and will provide both strategic and operational Partnership and Leadership to our

teams, enabling the HR model of the future. The Global Process lead role has 3 main spans of control: Own and manage their end-to-end aligned processes across the organization/processes within their area, ensuring that they are standard, efficient, effective, and aligned with the COEs and company's goals and objectives Partner with their respective COE Leadership to advise, guide and challenge the process design experience, creating and leading a clear roadmap for their functions Collaborate across teams, functions, and geographies to drive continuous process improvement initiatives that will enable the company to achieve operational excellence Accountable for the overall performance of the end-to-end global processes within their area and for ensuring process compliance with all relevant company procedures. Supports with identifying continuous improvement initiatives and team optimization opportunities. · Set the vision and strategic direction to implement the business strategy · Define the standard taxonomy, lead the process standards and roadmap for transforming and optimising processes. · Manage the process interdependencies, oversee end-to- end-process integration points · Bring together people (skill), process (flow) and technology (digital) elements that will inform design of operations & deliver the business results Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure process improvements are aligned with business objectives. · Establish and maintain cross-functional GPO connections Stay up to date with industry trends and standard methodologies related to process improvement and champion continuous improvement Develop and implement process improvement, using automation and innovation initiatives that drive global alignment, efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency across the organization · Ultimate decision rights on process variations that deviate from global standards Develop and manage metrics and reporting to measure process performance, identify areas for improvement, and track progress against targets partnering with Global Data owners to ensure data quality Ensure that process-related risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated appropriately Provide leadership and guidance on process and technology within their respective areas to business owners across the organization Dimensions: a) Financial The role will have no direct budget responsibility; however, the holder will need to be financially aware of their responsibilities and remain budget conscious and compliant. Seeking simplifications and opportunities to reduce HR costs through centralisation and productivity benefit realisation. b) Market Complexity Activities cover the entire Diageo structure, requiring connection with market and supply teams, covering the whole structure of Diageo. There will be close liaison with the HR leadership Team in both centres of excellence and in markets. The role will also work closely with leaders and teams across GBO & D&T c) Leadership Responsibilities · Senior Customer engagement across the HR and GBO functions; influencing as necessary· Strong interpersonal skills are required to motivate and ensure alignment across multiple teams, business process, data, and technical governance· Due to the complexity and integrations across the HR processes, the GPLs are required to ensure a consistent end to end lens is applied to all initiatives· Drive significant simplification and efficiency into our processes and systems in support of our global productivity and experience agenda· Ensure all controls and processes are understood and delivered to meet internal and external regulatory requirements· Act as custodian of the HR process globally through the design, implementation, and maintenance of the process, including effective performance metrics d) Qualifications and Experience Required Key Criteria to be successful in this role: Very strong functional knowledge (strategy, process, standards, technology trends) of their respective COE area Strong customer management skills and ability to understand business requirements and translate them into process and technology design solution Good understanding of HR technology landscape and architecture Solid knowledge of HR Cloud Solutions such as Workday, ServiceNow, or other · Strong ‘process’ thinking that connects the dots through its functional silos.
