In this role, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to design scalable data solutions, modernize legacy warehouses, and enable analytics-ready datasets that drive real business outcomes. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Snowflake implementations including requirement discovery, solution design, development, testing, and production rollout.
- Design and build scalable data models in Snowflake (schemas, warehouses, clustering strategies) aligned to analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines leveraging Snowflake capabilities for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement data ingestion and integration patterns on AWS to support batch and near-real-time data movement into Snowflake.
- Drive performance tuning across Snowflake workloads (query optimization, warehouse sizing, caching strategies) and ensure SLA adherence.
- Establish data governance practices including access controls, secure data sharing, and auditing aligned with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, best practices, documentation, and mentoring of junior team members.
- Support production operations including monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Technical requirements Technology->Data on Cloud-DataStore->Snowflake Additional responsibilities Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Technology/Computer Applications/Science (BTech/BE/MCA/MSc or equivalent).
- 6–10 years of overall experience with strong hands-on delivery in data warehousing and cloud data platforms.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake including architecture concepts, data modeling, performance tuning, and security features.
- Strong experience with AWS services used in data platforms and integrations.
- Proven experience leading technical delivery, owning solution outcomes, and working directly with stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MTech or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience designing cloud-native data platform architectures on AWS integrated with Snowflake for enterprise-scale workloads.
- Strong consulting skills: stakeholder management, estimation, delivery planning, and presenting solution approaches to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience implementing robust security and governance patterns (role-based access, data masking, auditing, secure sharing) in Snowflake.
- Track record of optimizing cost and performance through workload management, warehouse strategies, and operational best practices.
