We are ranked within the top 50 largest convenience store chains in the country, operating 150+ company-operated locations throughout New England and ranked within the top 10 largest car wash chains in the country Junior Fuel Technician Job Summary The Junior Fuel Technician supports the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of fuel systems and related equipment. This entry-level position works under the supervision of senior technicians to ensure fuel storage, dispensing, and distribution systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Total Bonus Amount of $1,500 Team member must be employed to receive the payout Paid $250 after 30 days, $250 after 90 days, $250 after 120 days & $750 after 180 days Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fuel systems, tanks, pumps, piping, and dispensing equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of fuel storage and dispensing systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on fuel equipment.
- Monitor fuel quality and assist with fuel sampling and testing procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
- Support environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives.
- Identify equipment issues and report findings to senior technicians or supervisors.
- Operate tools, testing equipment, and vehicles in a safe manner.
- Respond to service calls and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment. Qualifications Required
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience, maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing retail mechanical systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred
- Technical school training in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or related field.
- Experience with fuel systems, petroleum equipment, or maintenance operations.
- OSHA or safety training certifications. Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces when required.
- Capability to stand for extended periods. Working Conditions
- Outdoor and indoor commercial and office work environments.
- Travel to field locations in a company van
