About Our Program You’ll be joining the JD Vanguard (JDV) Graduate Program, our frontline leadership pathway for the next generation of supply chain talent. Over the course of a year, you’ll take on real projects, build technical and people-leadership skills, and learn how JD Logistics operates at a global level, with the opportunity to extend and continue your journey. Your Apprenticeship with Us You will train at our modern logistics hub in Oberhausen, where you will work in a team with experienced electricians. A dedicated trainer will support you throughout your entire apprenticeship. In our own training center, you first practice new content at your own pace before applying it to real systems. You will learn the theory at vocational school. In addition, you will attend inter-company courses run by the HWK. After 3.5 years, you will complete your training with the journeyman's examination and become a qualified electrician. What You Will Learn with Us

• Installing electrical systems: Under guidance, you will install power distribution, lighting, and communication systems and put them into operation.
• Testing and maintenance: You will test, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, working in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3 and VDE standards.
• Control and building technology: You will build and wire control systems and learn the basics of building automation.
• Finding and fixing faults: You will take measurements on systems, analyze malfunctions, and find faults step by step.
• Working with plans: You will read circuit and installation diagrams and document your work carefully.
• Customer assignments : You will connect electrical household appliances professionally at the customer's site and put them into operation.
• Working safely: You will learn and apply the five safety rules of electrical engineering and the requirements for occupational health and safety.
• Getting involved: You will help with projects that make our systems more reliable and more energy-efficient. What You Bring
• School qualification: Hauptschulabschluss, Realschulabschluss, or Abitur. -
• Interest in technology: You are interested in electrical engineering and have a good foundation in math and physics.
• Diligence: You work in a focused, precise, and reliable manner.
• Sense of responsibility: Safety matters to you, and you follow rules.
• Team spirit: You are willing to learn and enjoy working with others.
• Age: You must be at least 18 years old at the start of the apprenticeship. What We Offer You
• Compensation: €1,300 gross per month in the 1st year of training, increasing annually thereafter.
• Vacation and working hours: 25 days of vacation plus public holidays, 40-hour full-time work week.
• Personal support: A dedicated trainer accompanies you and has time for your questions.
• Our own training center: Here you practice in a hands-on way and at your own pace.
• Equipment: We provide you with tools, measuring instruments, and protective equipment.
• International environment: You will work in a growing company with colleagues from many countries.
• Career prospects: After your apprenticeship, you can continue to develop, for example professionally through the Meister or Techniker into leadership roles, or in other areas of our logistics operations.
