This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Expert Audio Transcriber, Portuguese (Brazilian) based in Brazil. This role is ideal for an experienced Portuguese-language transcription specialist who can transform spoken audio into highly accurate, conventionally formatted written transcripts. You will work with recordings ranging from controlled studio environments to natural conversations with varied acoustic conditions. The position requires expert linguistic judgment around orthography, regional accents, code-switching, speaker identification, disfluencies, and non-speech events. Your work will contribute to the training, evaluation, and improvement of advanced speech recognition and conversational AI systems. You will follow project-specific style guidelines while maintaining a consistently high standard of accuracy and quality. The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to additional expert linguistic projects as they become available.
