About Lakewood Regional Support Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications. What We’re Looking For : A detail-oriented and service-driven Laundry Valet Attendant who ensures smooth execution of daily operational activities across guest services and support functions. Who You Are :

- Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Do :
- Collects, tags, logs, and sorts guest laundry and dry‑cleaning items; ensures accuracy and proper handling throughout the process.
- Inspects garments for stains, damage, or special-care needs and communicates any concerns to leadership.
- Operates laundry equipment including washers, dryers, steamers, and presses according to safety standards and garment specific requirements.
- Presses and finishes garments to brand standards, ensuring crisp presentation and timely delivery.
- Packages, labels, and prepare completed items for delivery; ensure all items are accounted for and presented neatly.
- Delivers finished garments to guest rooms, respecting privacy and upholding all security and key-handling protocols.
- Maintains clean, organized work areas and assists in inventorying detergents, solvents, supplies, and equipment.
- Communicates guest preferences, rush orders, and special requests to leadership for timely coordination.
- Supports Housekeeping and Laundry teams with linens, uniforms, or special project work as needed.
- Follows environmental, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical storage and PPE usage. Other Responsibilities:
- Regularly lift up to 45 pounds, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
- Stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
- Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications Include :
- Valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a Dry-Cleaning operation and/or high-volume laundry operation is preferred.
- Handles the expected number of laundry items per shift (as set by hotel standards or management).
- Timely pickup and delivery of guest laundry or linen.
- Ensures all cleaned items are returned free of stains, properly pressed, tagged and correctly packaged.
- Prior experience driving cargo vans are preferred.
- Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
