Temporary Associate Registrar

The Temporary Associate Registrar supports the Office of the Registrar in the administration of course pre-registration, registration, and tutorial processes. Reporting to the University Registrar, the Temporary Associate Registrar administers registration processes and workflows and supports the development, testing, and maintenance of systems, integrations, and data exchanges supporting Registrar operations, including Workday Student, Stellic and CourseLeaf. Responsibilities include:

  • Administers course pre-registration, registration, and tutorial processes, including coordinating activities and troubleshooting and resolving complex process and system issues.
  • Coordinates with colleagues in the Registrar’s Office, Academic Affairs, ITS, and other campus offices to resolve registration and system issues and implement changes to related processes and systems.
  • Builds and maintains reports and data extracts used for registration processes, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
  • Coordinates functional testing, data mapping, and implementation activities related to registration systems and business process changes.
  • Reviews registration processes and system functionality, identifies needed enhancements and configuration changes, and coordinates requirements, testing, and implementation with appropriate functional and technical partners.
  • Supports the development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of integrations and data exchanges among Workday Student, Stellic, CourseLeaf, and related systems.
  • Develops and maintains functional documentation, procedures, and training materials and provides training to system users.
  • Monitors and resolves data discrepancies related to registration processes and systems.
  • Supports the development, configuration, testing, and maintenance of CourseLeaf and other systems used by the Registrar’s Office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. This is a temporary position working 37.5 hours per week through May 15, 2027. This is a remote position; however, on- campus meetings during certain periods may be required. Remote work is only considered for residents of MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI, or

Ny. Minimum

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a registrar’s office, higher education academic operations, student information systems, or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex student information, enterprise, or related administrative systems and troubleshooting system and business process issues.
  • Demonstrated experience with report building and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving data discrepancies and maintaining data integrity within complex administrative systems.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, data exchanges, system testing, or implementation of system changes.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex processes or projects involving multiple functional and technical partners.
  • Demonstrated experience developing documentation and providing training to system users.
  • Knowledge of academic registration and related academic administrative processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex operational and system-related problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities, organize details, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with a range of constituents. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with Workday Student or another higher education student information system.
  • Experience with Workday reporting and integration tools, including Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS) and Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs).
  • Experience with APIs, data mapping, and system integrations.
  • Experience with Stellic or a similar degree audit, academic planning, or course registration system.
  • Experience developing, configuring, or supporting CourseLeaf or a similar curriculum management application.
  • Experience supporting student information system implementations, migrations or significant system enhancements in a higher education environment.
  • Knowledge of FERPA and practices related to the management and protection of student academic records. Additional Applicant Instructions: Position is open until filled.
