Multiple leading Farmers Insurance agencies across the Grand Rapids area are seeking ambitious Insurance Agents to join our high-performing teams, all part of the nation’s top Farmers Insurance district. About the Role As an Insurance Sales Trainee, you will drive business growth, deliver customized insurance solutions, and uphold the District’s reputation for excellence. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in sales, love building relationships, and have a passion for helping clients protect what matters most. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build and sustain lasting client relationships through exceptional service and tailored insurance reviews
- Sell and cross-sell a full suite of insurance products: Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial
- Consistently achieve personal and agency sales goals
- Utilize CRM platforms for lead management, client follow-ups, and accurate record-keeping
- Stay current on Farmers Insurance products, industry regulations, and best practices
- Collaborate within a supportive, success-oriented agency team What You Bring
- 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience (preferred, not required)
- Excellent communicator with persuasive relationship-building skills
- Confidence making outbound calls and closing sales
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and accept coaching
- Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license, or willingness to obtain
