Job Family: Student Work Study Department: Student Employment Supervisor: Jose Gonzalez Matos Job Title: CCMI Marketing and Communications Intern Job Description: In this role, the intern will assist in the development, planning, execution, and evaluation of communications and marketing initiatives, with a specific focus and emphasis on the Re-Cycle Macon program. This program of CCMI repairs donated bicycles and provides them to those in need of accessible transportation at no cost. The intern will attend all Re-Cycle Macon program events unless otherwise agreed upon. Key Responsibilities: ● Create and produce marketing initiatives, including email, social media, and print and digital design ● Compile performance data on marketing and communications initiatives ● Help implement content marketing best practices ● Provide excellent communication with volunteers for the Re-Cycle Macon program ● Capture and create content from Re-Cycle Macon Bike Tech nights Qualifications: ● Strong interest in nonprofit marketing and communications ● Experience with managing social media platforms on behalf of an organization ● Professional and dependable ● Outstanding writing skills, including the ability to write varied content ● Multimedia proficiency, including knowledge of basic graphic design concepts, and basic video and photography ● Experience with bicycle repair is preferred but not required ABOUT CCMI: Centenary Community Ministries’ goal is to mobilize our community for the mission of offering radical hospitality and critical support services to neighbors facing homelessness, addiction, and food insecurity in Macon. CCMI provides five programs to meet this mission: (1) a Transitional House for men in recovery from substance abuse, (2) a Utility Assistance program, (3) a Community Garden, (4) a weekly Community Breakfast, and (5) Re-Cycle Macon. Pay Rate: $10/hr Scheduled Hours: 25 Start Date: 10/1/2026 End Date: 05/8/2027
