Coordinate as required with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Vendors to insure timely job completion.
Shipping Job
SUMMARY: Shipping processes all types of orders, including common carrier freight, for shipping. Orders would include but are not limited to, pumps, heaters and customer returns. This position includes pick, pack and shipment of all orders accurately, and according to the guidelines.
Primary Duties and
RESPONSIBILITIES: · Pick, pack, and ship orders according to shipping guidelines (i.e. to prevent damage during delivery). · Must be able to become proficient using all shipping applications, processes, and software including the shipping app for pick, pack, and shipping. · Responsible for the accuracy and on-time shipment of customers’ orders. · Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping future orders as directed by supervisor. · Responsible for the team metric of shipping all orders scheduled for the day they are due. · Responsible for packing orders in such a fashion that they arrive in perfect condition. · Updating daily communication information for shipment processing. · Operate, maintain and clean packaging and boxing equipment. · Provide assembly teams with packing materials required for finished product as needed. · Ability to use pallet jack or forklift to move, pick, pack, and load inventory/orders from racking. · Maintain a safe and clean work environment · Assist in other departments as needed · Other duties as assigned
Essential Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED · Basic computer skills · Basic math skills · Knowledge of scale use · Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization · Attention to detail · Self-motivated · Problem solving skills · Ability to research issues and drive to a resolution · Keeps records as required · Perform cycle counts · Report any safety hazards or dangers · Computer knowledge with Microsoft products, Internet usage · Ability to function accurately and safely in a fast-paced environment · Must be able to complete tasks on short notice as well as ability to pivot quickly · Have the ability to be trained and certified in safety procedures · Must have excellent time management skills · Work as a team player PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds · Ability to lift >50 pounds on an infrequent basis (no more than 4-5 hours a day) · Ability to stand for 8 hours · Ability to walk extensively in the course of an 8-hour day · Repetitive bending and twisting up to 90 degrees · Lifting and reaching to all levels · Ability to climb rolling ladder · Ability to withstand exposure to heat and cold Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and unrestricted basis. The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. $23.00 - $25.15
