Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Job Title: Transporter Employment Type: Part Time, 20 hours per week Shift: Rotating shifts Holidays and Weekends Location: St. Mary Medical Center As a Transporter you will:
- Observe for and report safety hazards and broken vehicles to the Lead Transporter for immediate repair.
- Transport patients on stretchers, beds and wheelchairs from one area of the hospital to designated area within the hospital campus, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient being transported.
- Promptly report any concerns of patients and/or happenings during transport to appropriate personnel.
- Cooperatively assist in lifting patients in and out of bed as requested, exercising proper lifting techniques.
- Clean wheelchairs and ensure each area has an adequate number.
- Keep incident log of transports.
- Perform all other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- CPR Certification
- issued by AHA
- Fingerprint & Child Abuse History Clearance (completed in onboarding if offered the position) Position Highlights and Benefits:
